For sale is a 1962 Oldsmobile F-85 Convertible that I have been rebuilding for several months and run out of interest. The body is rust free and was recently painted, although the hood needs repainting and there are some paint chips.The engine has just been rebuilt and has only been driven around the lot. I have not tried the automatic trans as it was taken from a donor car, but it did move forward and backward a few feet on the lot before we took it out. The front suspension was totally rebuilt by a previous owner The brakes were also rebuilt with new master and wheel cyls and shoes. I think it also has new shocks. The top frame is complete and just needs the cover. The trans is an automatic with floor shift. The interior needs to be redone, some minor electrical work, hood painted and some paint touch-up and some chrome installed. The car has power steering. I had a friend assemble the head lights and grille and he didn't put it together right so that will have to be redone. I think that pretty well describes the car but ask any questions. The buyer must pay the total winning bid within three days of the end of the sale. I will mail the clear CA title when I receivehe payment. The car must be picked up within 30 days of the end of the sale. A 20.00 per days storage charge will be due after 30 days unless other arrangements are made. I do reserve the right to end the auction at any time for any reason. I am relisting the car because the last buyer did not send the payment. If you are not a serious buyer, don't bid as it cost me over 300.00 commission to ebay for the last buyer not performing.
