This is an auction for a 1983 Porsche 911 Cabriolet. As you can see in the photos, this car is a custom Slant Nose Wide Body conversion. This is a CLEAN TITLE California vehicle! This Porsche has 183,792 miles on it. Please note that while we will do our best to represent this vehicle properly, it is being sold totally AS IS! That being said, this 911 runs and drives good. The car starts right up and the clutch and gearbox appear to be operating properly. If you would like to hear the engine run, we have posted a short video on youtube.com. You can view it by searching for 911 running in NJ. Here's what we do know. The brakes are very low and will have to be replaced/repaired, the top is hard to get closed and has a few very small tears, and the power windows do not work (maybe a fuse but have no idea where the fuse box is). As for the body, it has been completely repainted. There are stress cracks on the wheelwells (not that noticeable), as well as some other areas of paint cracking. We have tried to include photos of every cosmetic defect. Please take a look at the photos so you can see what you are buying. Here is a great opportunity to own a real classic from a great era for Porsche, without spending a fortune. Fix the brakes and drive it as it is, or spend some money and mint it out.
