Up for auction is a nice 1979 trans am . If you are looking for a great restoration project then this may be the car for you. this car has a straight body. As far as the bad stuff is concerned well it has a little rust in the trunk so it will need a new trunk pan, and the outside of the passenger door has rust about the size of a golf ball. the t-tops are good and dont leak!! all the glass is good. I have the origional storage sleeves for the t-tops. it has power windows, cruise, tilt , ac , at. it has a 455 engine with edelbrock intake, and a holly carb. the engine runs sound, and sounds great. I think it needs different jets cause it runs rich. I probably drive it down to the car wash every month or two to spray it down and run the car. according to the previous owner it was the stock tranny. I cant verify this but that is what he said. it shifts fine. I have the glove box in the trunck, a new heater core, and new shocks that go with it. also a set of snowflake wheels. (sorry no center caps) it gets up pretty darn good, and gets noticed when i drive it around. no cracks in the windshield. Center console cover needs replaced. Its there just cracked up. Tires are in excellent condition. I am not really sure what to add, so if you have any questions please feel free to ask. I can say that it would make an excellent project for someone, or can be driven as it is. it is a Y84 so please have a look at it. the t-tops are fischer by the way.
