Up for sale is my 1991 Camaro RS. I purchased this car November 25 2003, Car has not seen snow and has been garage kept and not daily driven since then. Infact in the 6.5 years i've owned the car i have only put 19,300 miles on it, most of it was to and from car shows. In the past 2 years i have put 6k miles on the car. Hence the reason its for sale. so heres what she's got done. The first thing to get noticed is the paint its a custom job, PPG dark bright teal metallic with ghosted grandsport vette stripes,(wide single down center and fender hashes on left side) The stripes are a bright silver metallic,as well as custom "cowl induction" lettering down side of hood. the paint is amazing, some angles and lights the stripes look as if they are painted silver other lights you cant even see them. Before the paint was shot a hawks 5" rear spoiler was added along with a harwood show series outlaw 4" cowl hood, the bumper and front GFX were cracked and replaced with brand new GM parts, no corners were cut!! The drip rails, antenna and moldings were shaved as well. The paint is by no means flawless museum condition but will win awards anywhere it goes! Rear corners of hood have slight damage after the hood got picked up by wind and pushed against the hinges, has been touched up and doesnt stand out but a small amount of fiberlass would make it perfect. The nasty stance is courtesy of an Air ride technologies suspension, 3 gallon tank and 1/4" lines supply the air to bags on all 4 corners. All the compressor, valves etc are hidden in the spare tire well, only thing visible is the digital control panel in the dash. It uses 4 way valving so you can tune each individual airbag to your desired ride, the car handles remarkably well!!! And comes with 2 key fobs to raise or lower the car from out of the car,(crazy fun at car shows to jack it up and slam it in the weeds when folks are checking it out). The wheels are 1 off Boze speedsters 18x10 out back with 285/35/18 falken 452's and the fronts are 18x8 with 245/35/18 falkens, wheel and tire combo have maybe 3k miles and are like brand new. Center caps are engraved with the factory style RS emblems. Clear front and side markers along with polished tails keep the lighting neat and simple. Moving inside the factory seats were recovered with grey leather(is a small puncture on drivers side seat from a screwdriver in my pocket) The gray carpet was ditched for black ACC 750 thread count carpet, some small detail painting on the handles and gauge bezel and a custom leather wrapped center console finish the fabrics. Dash pad was done in fiberglass however bubbled in some heat, has dashmat covering it up now. The stereo is a sony cd player with pioneer 4 ways in the sail panels, 2 12" rockford subs with a 900 watt rockford amp in a custom infinate baffle box, this stuff looks factory! The engine is a built 305, all sealed by fel pro. TPI heads with a 1205 port, heads were built by sch racing heads in arvada co. Comp cam, crane lifters, trick flow chromeoly pushrods, comp roller rockers, edelbrock TBI manifold which is port matched to the heads, built high flow TBI unit which includes ledges ground and smoothed into the bowls, adjustable pressure regualator, inline pressure gauge, injection pod spacer, and a tbi spacer under the unit. Finished off with a 14x4" open element with "camaro RS TBI injected" lettered in body color vinyl. The ignition consist of gm distributor, MSD cap and rotor, MSD super condutor wires custom made to look extremely clean, everything on the engine is new from water pump to starter, alternator and battery. Exhaust starts with edelbrock TES headers and y pipe into a 3" system which either exits through a electric cutout in place of the cat or back into a flowmaster 40 series, with a turndown to keep the back end nice and clean looking. Washer fluid resivor and plumbing has been removed and coolant overflow alarm and electrical dist. block were all relocated under the front pane. AC and heat have been deleted along with the emissions equipment(have everything and will include with purchase including 3" catco high flow cat) The car will not pass visual emissions, however did pass with equipment installed and not hooked up. Trans has been rebuilt and a b+m mega shifter with hammer head knob was added, shifts FLAWLESSLY! Rear end has been changed to a 3.42 posi disc rear with all new seals and bearings. Only issue with the car is it is low on power and runs a bit rough, driveable but needs tuning work with the ecm!!! However if you live in a place without emissions a carb and standard HEI this car will SCREAM!!! I am selling to fund a 55 chevy truck project i have, i really dont drive this anymore its been sitting in the garage under the cover basically for 2 years, i do occasionally take her out and blow her off. If you have a very nice low miles Hayabusa i may consider partial trade Have a folder full of receipts probably 10's of thousands of dollars i've spent on this car as well as a clean and clear title in my hand ready to sign over.
