1981 Honda Gold wing GL 1100 PLEASE READ COMPLETELY. Thanks.. This bike is has been sitting for 3 years. The last time I rode it was when I came back from my tour through Canada and Nova Scotia. You will need the battery charged, oil change (the oil was changed when I garaged it), tune up and new gas and whatever else that may need done to make it road worthy. I am selling this because I bought a new motorcycle 3 years ago and it has been sitting garaged ever since. There is very little rust on this bike as you can see from the pictures. The only spot that I could find is on the rear fender (see picture). There is also a rip on the seat that has been covered with black tape. The chrome is in great shape having been garaged it whole life. The bike has a leak that recently started from the right rear shock. The rear tire was replaced when I stored it and the front tire is in good condition. The brake pads were also replaced on the front. The bike has 51,041 miles on it and I have owned it since 1998. This bike has taken me all across the country and I have always maintained everything on it to new condition. The bike comes with the Vetter Windjammer IV front fairing and Vetter hard saddle bags and back case. I also have some original paper work and a mechanics manual. Buyer must pick up bike with trailer or truck. Please do not plan on showing up and riding this bike away. I am unable to help you fix anything before you ride it. Like I said it has been sitting for 3 years. I will not ship this bike. Sorry. I am selling this bike as is and where is. An immediate deposit of $100.00 is due at auction close. The balance will be paid at time of pick up in cash only and title will be handed over. Bike will need to be picked up within 7 calendar days if you need longer time to pick up the bike then there will be a storage charge of $5.00 per day starting on the 8th day of auction closing.
