You are bidding on a 1975 MG MGB that runs and drives great. The car has been a very dependable driver and has just had both floor sections completely replaced with Heritage floor panels from the UK. The floor panels were welded in, sealed, and completely insulated with Dynamat style sound deadener/insulation. New Carrelli carpet was installed and 2008 Mazda Miata seats with new leather seat covers were fitted. The car had a new top with zip out rear window installed last year. The tires are like new and the spare has never been on the ground. The engine runs great and may have been replaced at one time with a new factory engine according to a sticker on the valve cover, but I have no paperwork to support this. The engine has an aluminum intake with a Weber carburetor and electric choke. The transmission is quiet shifts effortlessly and smoothly. The differential is quiet as well and the fluid in both looks new. The clutch and brakes work well. The steering works well but one rack boot has a tear. The car handles well, even with the narrow tires. The body and paint work was done by a previous owner and, while not show quality, looks good. It comes with a complete indoor cover, boot cover, bra, and original jack and wheel tools. The electrical system works great and has never failed to start. A new Monza exhaust system was just installed that gives it a deep throaty sound without being too loud. The engine runs cool even on long trips during the 90 plus degree days so far this summer.
