You are bidding on a super clean '79 Pontiac Trans Am. The Bird on the hood is factory and she carries under 51,000 miles. The 403 V-8 L80 motor runs strong and is paired with the M33 automatic transmission and 3.23 posi-traction rear end. The highly desireable WS6 suspension package with 4 wheel disk brakes is included. While 4 wheel disk brakes are common today, this was special in 1979. The car also includes gold "snowflake" wheels. The interior has no tears or cracks and under the hood is showroom clean. This car is a joy to drive and turns heads when it is let out of the garage. This car leaks no fluids of any kind. If you are looking for a car that is ready to cruise and show this summer you've found it. I bought this car in January 2008 at the Barett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, AZ paying $23,100 ($21,00 bid plus comission). Barrett Jackson is a reputable auction house who takes only the best. My garage is full of Boss and Shelby Mustangs and when this car was delivered it kicked my wife's car out of the garage into the Michigan winter. She has never forgiven this car. It does not fit my collection, she hates it, and I need the garage space so I'm selling it. This car will be sold in July. The car comes with a good amount of paperwork/documentation including a copy of the original build sheet, Pontiac Historical Paperwork, original warranty book and original warranty card as well as all of the Barrett Jackson documents including a photo of the car on the auction block, window listing, bill of sales, transportation documents etc. If I were keeping the car I'd likely get new tires.
