1988 SUBARU JUSTY GL 4X4 and FREE TRAILER This car has A/C, Push button 4X4, 1.2 Liter 3 Cylinder engine. I’ve owned this car for about 4 years, I purchased it on eBay in San Diego and then drove it home to SLC, it drove home perfectly and has been my right hand man since then. This little car is great, I’m truly sorry to see it go but I got a job in NYC and we’ve got to sell almost all of our stuff. The Justy comes with a FREE TRAILER which has a storage box with a lock in the front, all of the electrical connections are made for the blinkers and brakes, the wheels have a little wear and tear but hey…. It’s free. The car has always passed the safety and emissions tests. ** Things that have been serviced, maintained or replaced: - An oil change has been performed on this car since I’ve owned it, I bought it with 94K miles and now it’s got 145K, it has always been changed with a synthetic blend and I’ve always used FRAM TOUGH GUARD for the filter. - The Manual Transmission fluid was changed 5K miles ago. - The Clutch was replaced 14K miles ago. Front brake pads replaced (lifetime warranty from autozone) - The windshield was replaced less than 100 miles ago. - The Head Gasket was replaced and the head was refurbished 20K miles ago. - The starter was replaced (lifetime warranty at autozone) about 15K miles ago. - The left and right axles were replaced about 10K miles ago (lifetime warranty at autozone). - The battery is only 4 months old from Walmart. - The front tires are in really good shape, all four were bought last year, you can tell the car is well aligned because the tread wear is almost perfect, the rear tires might need replacement soon. - The clutch cable was replaced (lifetime warranty at autozone) 5K miles ago. - The water pump was replaced when the head was refurbished. ** Things that I’ve added to the car: - I’ve added a roof cargo carrier and above that it has a solar panel that connected to an auxiliary battery that is in the back of the car, from there I’ve connected a DC-AC 110V and USB power inverter, the power has a toggle that can be used to have it charged while the car is running, it is set to charge automatically from the solar panel. - I’ve also converted the central consol into a little 12V Cigarette lighter power station with a USB charger for iPods, iPhones and any other USB device, it connects to the auxiliary battery and not the main one, this way you can have things running while the Justy is off and it won’t drain the battery. - I’ve installed a remote alarm with keyless entry (two key fobs), it locks and unlocks both doors, there is also a “beep” sound for you to know when it’s armed and disarmed. - I’ve installed power windows on both front doors. The passenger side rear brake bleed connector has been stripped, no leaks or worries though. - I’ve installed a towing hitch along with a wire harness for the trailer that I have. - It’s got a JENSEN VM9512 DVD/CD/MP3/Bluetooth/SMA/DIVX/SD card/iPod Connector and Auxiliary Player. It has a touch screen and still had two years remaining on the warranty. **Things that might need fixing or that have to be mentioned: - The back driver side of the car was hit lightly and I tried to fix it, you can see from the pictures that it’s not perfect. - The A/C has no leaks, but because the engine is smaller than a typical car, it’ll get nice and frosty usually only at about 45MPH or faster. - The vibration dampener seems a little wobbly, might have to be replaced soon. - Slight oil leak (about 2-4 drops per night), not sure where, seems it might be from the oil pan, sometimes the oil might drop on the exhaust a little smoke will rise. I think that’s it, the car is located in Sandy, UT which is part of the Salt Lake Area, if you come in from out of town I can pick you up at the SLC International Airport. Since this is a used car, please consider the sale final and the car as an AS-IS. No warranty is offered or implied. I’ve tried to be as honest and complete with my description as possible, if you have any questions, please ask before you bid. I’ll expect a retainer of 200.00 within 24 hours of auction end, after that I need you to pick up the car within a week.
