1976 BMW R-Series

Up for auction is the most collectible post 1970's BMW there is. This was BMW'S superbike and changed the looks of the previous models. The bike just had the carbs cleaned and a new battery installed and runs like an old bike should(fast). Showing just over 63,000 miles everything seems to function as it should. The bike does show wear as you might expect for it's age. Please look at the photos carefully and address any issues or questions you may have before the auction ends. Keep in mind this bike is a 1976 model and may need something fixed as you ride it? I don't know of any issues the bike has but it's an old bike. sold as is no warranty. On Jun-27-10 at 19:55:42 PDT, seller added the following information: The horn was not correct I found one and have installed it. Horn does work and all the electrical seems to be functional including the clock. I am not an expert but think most other stuff is correct.
