Vehicle Detail
For Sale: 1967 Pontiac Tempest Convertible Car has been sitting inside our garage since 2000. Convertible top works perfectly. No rust in the trunk. It had floor pans installed but they were not tacked down by the previous owner. This is an all original matching numbers car. Engine is a 326 2 barrel. Wiring has not been cut. Automatic column shift transmission shifts great but the breaks are locked up from sitting for the past 10 years. We have bled the breaks and the seals are holding. Engine starts right up. No knocking, pinging, ticking. Car looks good from 10 feet. Glass is all good. Wipers work. All lights work. Convertible top motor is very good and top goes up and down easily without any hang-ups. Bad parts, it will need some ¼ patch panels around the wheels. Fenders look good but will need some minor work. The frame is solid except for two areas right below the firewall. There are a couple holes about 3x1.5 inches long that need to be patched. It is still solid though. The soft top has a small hole about 2 inches from where a tree branch fell on it years back. Finally it will need new rear springs. The ones on there now sit a little low. You and view pictures of the car at photobucket. Follow the link below. You can judge for yourself what the car will need. I am selling the car for my father. He is selling it because he has a 1950 Plymouth that he is working on and we need the space in the garage. The car is about 18 feet long so it takes up a lot of room. It had an aftermarket radio installed by the previous owner but I don’t think it’s hooked up. Also I don’t think the dash was cut for the radio. This is an excellent car for restoration. You can also turn it into a GTO clone if the need is felt. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I will send them on to my father. Car is located in Woodbourne, NY about 70 miles north of where we live. If you want to come and take a look at it you are more than welcome. Just send me a message and we can arrange a time to meet. Photos of the car can be seen at: http://s577.photobucket.com/albums/ss220/robuqi/?start=all just copy and paste into your browser. In the pictures the car has a flat. Another tire is on now and is up. The car is on wheel dollies so it can be moved around. I will get more pictures and video of the car on Saturday June 26th. and post them when I get home. Car is being sold with TRANSFERABLE Registration in "As-is" condition. Not looking for any trades for anything. No 0 bidders or many negative feedbacks. 0 bids will be automatically deleted. If you want to bid and have 0 feedback, please get a friend to bid for you. Thanks for looking. On Jun-26-10 at 14:54:26 PDT, seller added the following information: NEW PICTURES AND VIDEOS ARE POSTED ON PHOTOBUCKET. Please follow the link: http://s577.photobucket.com/albums/ss220/robuqi/?start=all I just want to let everyone know that the car is in a garage. It has been inside for the past 10 years out of any weather. The car will need to be taken out by either a flatbed or on ramps. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I think the reserve is low enough that it will be met. Like I have told many people, It is NOT made out of GOLD. Just needing a good home where someone will put it back to its PONTIAC Glory. On Jun-30-10 at 16:28:12 PDT, seller added the following information: Just want to mention: It will need to be taken out by flatbed or ramps becasue as you can see from the pictures I have a loading dock. It is only about 2 feet high. That is the only way in or out with the car. We used to have a flatbed and used that to get it in the garage, we no longer have it. I have the car on dollies right now so I could move it around a bit. Hope that answers any questions.
