Vehicle Detail
1957 Chevrolet 210 Pro-Street You are bidding on a very cool super powerful 57 Chevy Pro-Street with an Blown Big Block and HUGE tires out back. This was frame off restored in 2002 with pictures of the restoration. It was well done, as it still looks fresh. This has an awesome look with the beautiful paint, blower coming up and wide tires with the right stance. If you are looking for something that will turn heads, this is your next ride. The body was pulled from the frame, sanded to bare metal inside and out, and all body work professionally done. The rear quarters were replaced with NOS quarters, not aftermarket pieces. Once the body was straight and perfect, 2002 GM Sunset Orange Metallic base coat clear paint was expertly applied. The finish is smooth and even with a beautiful glossy shine to it. The hood was opened up to provide clearance for the blower to stick through. The hood is included but he took it off just for the coolness factor. Why hide a polished blower big block? The frame was sand blasted and back halfed to accommodate huge rear tires. It was strengthened to hold the HP it was going to run then painted black. The front suspension was rebuilt and the rear has adjustable coilovers to dial it in. All of the chrome is new and the trim is in very nice shape. The glass is all in nice condition. The interior is custom done with vinyl and micro fiber suede. The front seat is comfortable and a rear seat was custom made to fit between the wheel tubs. Yes, this is a Pro-Street car you can cruise with the family. The door and side panels were custom covered and even the headliner is custom perforated micro suede to match. The carpet is a quality type material like you would find in a luxury vehicle. The gauges are Classic Instruments Speedo, Oil, Fuel, Volt, and Water. An Autogage Tachometer is mounted on the dash with a shift light. A wood and billet Grant steering wheel finishes off the interior. Now for the good stuff. This is a Pro-Street so you would expect it to have something under the hood, if it would fit. A Big Al’s Toy Box 468 Blower motor fills the cavernous engine compartment up with around 800hp of killer power. Balanced rotating assembly with Steel Crank, Rods, and Forged Pistons. Comp Cams roller cam is a 675/528 lift with roller lifters and rockers. BDS 8-71 Blower topped with twin Demon 750 Carburetors provide the fuel. A Mallory Distributor fires off the pump gas with the help of a MSD 6AL spark box and Accel Super Coil. Spent fumes pump through ceramic coated headers into flow through mufflers that sound awesome. Cooling the motor is a Griffin aluminum radiator. The power is then pumped through a TH400 rebuilt with a reverse manual valve body. A B&M Shifter helps to select the gears. Putting the power to the ground is a shortened Dana 60 with a posi unit and 4.11 gears. Power Disc Brakes up front with drums in the rear. Manual steering helps keep her on the road. This is actually a really nice driving car and the owner said he wouldn’t be afraid to drive this anywhere, except for the 8 mpg it gets on the highway limits you with the 12 gallon fuel cell. I can personally say it runs EXCELLENT and it really did drive down the road well. SCARY FAST! Rolling stock consists of Weld Draglites with Mickey Thompson 28x7.50x15 Sportsmens up front and new Hoosier Pro-Street 31x18.5x15 out back. Overall, this is one beautiful Pro-Street 57 with the right look, right color, AWESOME engine, and a killer stance. You couldn’t build this car for the price its on here for.
