Up for sale is our 1995 Mercury couger xr7. I will describe as best i can. this car has been a one family car.title was transfered once but it was kept in family. it has been serviced and maintained as recomended by the dealer. the car body has no dents and windows have no cracks. all electric seats,windows and door locks all work normally, the dash and all door panels and center console are free from cracks or color fade. engine runs strong and clean.Transmission works great and shifts smoothly. AC blows nice and cold and it has a brand new AM FM CD player installed. I had this vehicle inspected by our local les schwab from bumper to bumper. the following procedures were performed. all wheel bearings replaced. upper ball joints replaced, rack n pinion steering unit replaced and an all 4 wheel alignment was done.paperwork is in the glovebox and is fully covered. brakes are at approx 80 percent still good. tires were all rotated and spun ballanced. Interior is in great shape except for the tare in drivers seat that shows in picture. here are all the negatives to the car. drivers side sunvisor needs replacment or repair for cosmetics only, clear coat in paint has come off just above right tail light shown in pics. very light surface scratches in paint right front quarter panel, they will probably buff out, see the pics. sunroof does not open properly, it gets out of alignment and stops. but it closes tightly and does not leak. check engine light has come on, i had it checked out. it is a heat sensor on right side of engine. it was not recommended to change at time of service and does not effect the operation of engine in any way. check engine light is not on now.on cool days the hood doesnt stay up very well. when its warm it works fine. im assuming the cylinders are warn in the arms that hold the hood up. all the negatives are all easily fixed and minor. I am selling this car because we have to many and I need a car for my 16 year old daughter. I would consider any trades for a 4 cylinder automatic of equal value. this car blue books at $2,800 in excellent condition and approx $2,400 in fair to good condition, good condition is what this car is. it needs no work to drive and is very dependable. a $125 dollar deposit is required through paypal. the rest in cash at time of sale. I think I have decribed and showed good pics. . engine is clean and free from excess dirt and looks great.engine is a 4.6 liter OHC. it starts fast every day. doesnt smoke or have any issues. car is located in yuba city calif. 45 miles north of sacramento. we can discuss arrangments.I put my reserve at half of what it bluebooks for. smog certificate and pink are ready. thanks
