Up for sale is a 1985 Jeep Cj-7 Renegade. The jeep is From the Arizona New Mexico area, which means no rust. Jeep is a 6 cylinder, ebay just did not have that "option" The Exterior is the original grey, but has faded in some areas (see pictures). It has a few dents too. It is equiped with a tow bar and a custon 2 gerry can holder / swing out rear tire carrier. The body is straight and drives well down the road. The interior is equiped with bestop water proof seats made out of the same material as the top. No backseat. The locking center console holds the radio with a cb. Four sony speakers make sure you can hear the music. The dash has the original tach, radio, and speedometer along with a newer after market fuel, water temp, voltmeter, and oil pressure. The odometer is broken but reads 5559. The interior of the tub is bedlined. It comes with full hard doors (driver sides lock catches), full grey soft top, strapless bikini top, grey tonneau cover, grey bestop windjammer, and 2 piece black soft doors. The drivetrain is original. It has the 4.2 6 cylinder with a lot of upgrades like new alternator, new radiator, water pump, aftermarket valve cover, new electric fan, weber carb, hei ignition and more. The transmission is the T-5 (5speed manual) that shifts smoothly. Dana 300 transfer case with twin sticks leading to the D30 front axle with manual locking hubs and the rear AMC20 axle with one piece axles shafts and new bearing. Both axles have 4.10 gears and the tiresw are 31x12.5 on steel wheels. The good: The jeep goes around town and off road amazingly. It can handle any trail or mud hole that you take it down. I used it for a daily driver but just changed jobs which requires a lot more driving. The bad: The Jeep has 31" tall tires on it but can fit 33" and the 4.10 gears are meant for 33", so the 5th gear is not needed until the tires are upgraded. Which means you cant drive over 55. The Jeep leaks a little oil out of the top of the valve cover, but just needs a new cap. Call if you have any questions.318-308-7629. There is no warranty on this Jeep.
