1979 Toyota Landcruiser This truck has had a lot of work done. It turns alot of heads when we go to the drive-in. That being said I really haven't done much with the engine other than tuneup stuff. It runs strong. The mileage is unknown, it had 5K on the meter when I bought it in 2005. It's just over 8K now. It has been garage kept and driven to (& on) beach on summer weekends. Four wheel drive works good with Warn manual locking hubs. New Parts: Aqualu 3/4 tub aluminum tub w/ stainless bolts and new mounting hardware front fenders front coweling (Aluminum) 32" BF Goodrich ALL TERRAIN / TK (5) Aluminum Wheels (5) w/locks 6 into 1 Header with exhaust and Catylitic Converter Tuffy center console with HD radio CD player and speakers Ironman Springs wirh 2" lift schackles with zirks and bushings Pro Comp shocks and steering stabilizer tie rod ends stainless steel brakelines new clutch master/ slave cylinders Front brake calipers (rebuilt, painted red) Rear frame cross member (that holds tail lights) receiver hitch tail lights side mirrors wireing harness with fuse block in glovebox windshield glass windshield wiper refills plug wires rotor distributer cap plugs airfilter oil change (of course) battery radio antenna rubber gaskets for hard top Lots of stainless steel fasteners Front seat covers bikini top various emblems Used /Refurbished Parts: Rear Ambulance doors windshield frame distributer license plate bracket front bucket seats spare tire bracket side marker lights sun visors The body is undercoated with bedliner paint (blue or black) the inside of the tub is painted with bedliner paint (gray) The tub was painted while off the truck and the bedliner undercoating done with a roller. all aluminum parts were primed with an etching primer prior to paint many parts were disasembled/ cleaned/ painted the gas tank was painted (red) and reinstalled with new straps Issues: rear main seal leaks a bit heater blower hard top needs headliner windshield sprayer window cranks on doors need clips This truck was desmogged when I got it. It passes Indiana Emissions testing every year.
