Vehicle Detail

This is a 1970 & 1/2 Chevrolet Camaro base model, it was originally citrus green with a black vinyl top, this car is completely street legal, it is also completely strip NHRA legal down to 12 seconds flat for the quarter mile, a roll bar alone if I remember correctly would make you legal down to at least 11 seconds. I have owned this car for eighteen years, between family & work I just can't find the time to work on it anymore, my buy it now price is less than I invested in the engine alone. It is very drivable, it idles in gear at 750 rpm and does not stall or bog on take off, it does not overheat in traffic, & has plenty of low end torque even with a large cam as the engine is so large. I have not driven it for a while, I can start it for you but we cannot drive it as the right rear tire separated so you will need to tow it home, all 4 tires do hold air though. To be drivable again it needs new tires, new battery, radiator has a small hole in the core & may be repairable or you can just replace it, the thermostat housing & intake gaskets need to be replaced, needs new spark plug wires & organizers, you should also replace the transmission cooler lines with braided line as on of the lines is leaking some, this vehicle does run as mentioned before but these issues must be addressed before taking it out on the road. The hood has been cut for a scoop but I no longer have the scoop. It could use interior work as well as body work due to rust but I did drive it with the body & interior the way they are for many years. I am an A.S.E. Certified Master Automotive Technician so my focus was always on the mechanicals of the car. All cylinder head work was performed by Heads by Rick in Broward County Florida, the are now called HBR Competition Engines based out of Nevada, the short block work was performed by Russ Auto in Broward County Florida.
