This is a 1995 Plymouth Neon for sale for the mechanically inclined. A pulley on the engine has become stuck, so while the engine functions, it will not run without the pulley being fixed. Beyond that, the clutch plate in this car's automatic transmission is not functioning correctly and the air conditioning does not work well. This car would make an excellent project car for anyone who has the ability an time to spend on it. For those who like speed, it is common to trade out the 3-speed automatic transmission in these with a 5-speed manual for better efficiency and control. This will fix the busted transmission issue for those who are interested. I simply am not mechanically inclined and don't have the time or money to put into it. However, let me point out that the car has generally been gently used in its 116,000 miles. The owner previous to me was an older woman who became too blind to drive it, I purchased it from the woman's son-in-law after she became too blind to drive it. The car's body is in generally decent condition, though the bottoms of the doors have some rust on them. The hood, as well, has rust developing on the front edge. For the buyer, I will throw in 4 doors and a hood from a 1998 Neon I purchased some time back from another person on Craigslist which are generally in better condition. Otherwise, the car has a small dent on the back, driver's side and the typical small dents from over-zealous door openers. The right-hand-side side marker is broken. The wheels on this car are still under warranty and come from TireRack.com. They were purchased in February and have maybe 2000 miles on them. Other new items on this car include new steel brakelines for the rear tires, new engine mounts, as well as a world of other stuff I've had to replace over the past year, including the serpentine belt. The car has power steering, a Pioneer CD/AM/FM Stereo, and A/C (Which is currently questionably functioning). The car currently has 114816 miles on its odometer. This car comes as is. This car must be picked up since I don't have a wrecker to get it anywhere and don't honestly know how to ship a car. If this auction doesn't sell it, it is going to the junkyard. I have a new car coming in and would like to put it in my driveway. However, they have less rust than the doors and hood found on this specific Neon. The tires included on this car are these specific tires: General Tire Altimax HP And these specific wheels: 14x6 Silver Painted Sport Edition D5. That's over $500 worth of tires and wheels with about 2000 miles on them. Excellent products and very little road noise.
