1951 Dodge Wayfarer 2 door, Straight 6 Cyl. Fluid Drive Transmission ( manual & auto combined) Car is in good shape and a great car to restore. Body is very solid, few areas with rust and small amounts of filler from previous restoration. Body panels are very solid slight rust on rockers, by one of the headlights and one of the tail lights. Trunk is solid. Floor has been repaired with fiberglass by previous owner in the 90's, it's solid but a amatuer job. Also some fiber glass on drivers side fender mount. Frame is solid, it has scale but no rust through. Brakes work but need to be gone through to be really good. Car runs good. Could use some carb adjustment, but runs fine. Transmission works well and clutch is firm. Interior has been redone years ago, seats look good, headliner and door panels need to be redone. This car has been in storage for many years (15+) so not much history. I bought it to restore but have decided I'd like something from the 60's better. Car is all original and is as is. I have some of the chrome pieces, but not sure if I have all of them (they came with the car and I have not gone through them) If you are looking for a drivable car to restore this is it. This car is a good restoration project for those with experience and understand the work involved. This is not a car for a beginner or someone unfamiliar with 50's era cars. Email for more pictures.
