1973 Ford-American LaFrance pumper. Truck has been privately owned and stored inside in AZ for the last 5 years. Currently owned by an AZ Fire District located outside of Phoenix, being sold as surplus. Truck runs very well with 21,791 actual miles. Cab and chassis is Ford C900 with 534 V8 gas motor, 5 speed manual transmission, and airbrakes. Rear tires have almost new tread, front tires are good with no cracks. Passed Maricopa County (AZ) Emissions test 6 months ago. 500 gal water tank with 1000 gpm pump. Truck pumps water with good pressure but does leak. Suspect leak is because of seals, tank to pump connection, etc. Body is in excellent condition with one small cut in driver’s door (photo), all glass is good, paint is fair to good. All equipment pictured (hoses; pressure and suction, deck gun and ladder) are included.
