1959 CHEVROLET APACHE STEPSIDE ALL ORIGINAL NUMBERS MATCHING TRUCK 69986 ORIGINAL MILES view truck videos click links below Truck's history 2 Owners ever. A gentelman from texas since 1997, and the man who bought it from the dealer in Mclean around 59 (technically 3 if you include me but I have never titled it due to not driving it alot). I DO HAVE CLEAR TITLE IN HAND. Only 69986 original miles on truck! Truck info Stepside , smooth running original 235 straight six, original transmission, three speed on column. WORK THAT HAS BEEN DONE Rebuilt master cylinder. Rebuilt brake cylinders. Rebuilt emergency brake cabling. Replaced brake pads around 10 yrs ago, but it has not been driven much. New shocks. Honed cylinders, replaced rings and bearings, had head professionally rebuilt. New carburator. A few small new things like radiator hoses, ignition cables, dist cap. gas sending unit. Gauges all seem to work, but the small gear in the trans needs replaced that turns the cable that goes to the speedometer gauge. The cable itself has been replaced. The fenders and bed were removed, primed and painted inside and out. Sandblasted and painted the frame under the bed, but not under the cab. It was painted , but I will not say its professional or great quality. I have seen some worse and plenty better, but it should keep it from rusting if someone wanted to wait awhile to paint it their own color. New tires about ten years ago, and its been stored inside so they seem new still. Original rims tend to leak around the bead some very slowly. Replaced bed wood and painted wood black. The wood is very durable, Gronfoloe which is in the teak family, from south america. MECHANICAL CONDITION Mechanically runs good truck could use a good tune up (fluids flushed, plugs are good) because in the last two decades its been sitting more than its been driven , the engine and tranny are good the trans linkage may need to be adjusted because it is a bit hard to shift, (maybe because im not good with three on the tree- not really for sure) but the trans itself is good all gears are good. A bit of rust (approx a few sq in.) inside the cab running along the top of the windshield I believe due to it needing a new windshield seal (please see pics), that is the only rust that has not been repaired on the truck In the photos you will notice that the grille headlight bezels, inside door panel / levers are on there. Theyre not securely fastened in place, I put them on finger tight to show the finished condition they will need to be tightened or I can tighten them by request. I have most of the original bolts aftermarket seatbelts and spotlight (that is why there is a hole in the roof- for the spotlight) that go with the truck. I believe the truck is complete with all parts. If your wondering what that thing is under the blue tarp , dont worry, its just an ol VW engine. It will be removed before delivery. if you want it give me 100 extra and its yours!
