1970 Cougar XR-7 Convertible with original leather interior and low 108,994 original miles. California blue license plates and zero rust anywhere ever. No bondo whatsoever in this solid straight car. New top (power top with glass back window), new carpet, runs and drives extremely well. This is not another "me too" Mustang; and no Mustang drives this nicely or looks this stylish, a true summertime cruiser. None of the sqeaks or rattles that seem to plague the less-substantial Mustangs. Loaded with all sorts of rare options. Engine is a 351 cid Cleveland block. I don't know if it has ever been rebuilt, but it runs perfectly. For all intents and purposes this car has had only one owner. The original owner sold it to a neighbor in 1996, and the neighbor never drove it (note the 1997 registration tags, and the title was printed in June 1996). He held onto the car intending to restore it and I bought it from him earlier this year. We replaced the top and the carpet, tuned the car up and checked it mechanically. The neighbor had accumulated several boxes of extra parts which will be included with the car.
