I have personally been driving it since we traded it in and just LOVE IT! This car is in overall much better condition than I would expect from the year. Driving a convertible just puts you in a good mood. Top Down, Wind In Your Hair, Warm Sun Shine, and Your Favorite Music just makes for a perfect drive! There is just everything great about this car! Exterior: With the new body style, This Miata is a great looking Sporty car that offers plenty of fun, sport, and performance, all at a great price! The Exterior of this Convertible looks Great, especially considering the year. The Deep Blue Sapphire Mica Metallic Paint looks really Classy. The Paint is very deep and shiny and has a slight metallic look. There is so much shine left in this paint that it is obvious it has been garage kept. You just don’t miss this fun and sporty car heading down the highway. This Miata is riding on a set of Factory Upgraded Alloy Wheels. They are shiny and beautiful. The tires are sport/performance tires and are in great shape and should have plenty of life left. The Wheels are in great shape, I do notice that one center cap is missing. The front and rear bumpers are painted to match the body of the car as are the door handles. This beautiful Miata shows some normal wear, rather significant road rash that is typical for how low this car sits to the ground, and I notice that the driver side exterior side mirror appears to have been repaired and repainted by the previous owner, but this is less than what I would normally expect to see in a 1999 model car. There are a lot of little extras that add to the look of this car. Front Fog Lights, 15" Upgraded Alloy Wheels, A Rear Glass Window, and More. The Front bumper houses the fog lights. Hop in this car and have fun! The trunk is surprisingly roomy and offers more space for groceries than I would expect. There is a spare tire recess mounted in the trunk. Original floor mats are included, too. Convertible Top:The Convertible Top on this Mazda is in overall very good condition. The top goes up and down easily with two front hooks. The top comes complete with a glass rear window with defrost. You will find a little usual wear on this top, one very small area that has been repaired, but it is in overall great condition. The top seals tightly and does not leak any water. Overall, the Exterior Condition of this Mazda is in Very Good Condition. We do not see any indications of body work and the carfax is clean and clear with only 1 Owner, too. Interior:The Overall Interior of this Mazda Miata MX5 is very, very nice. There are no notable issues. No stains, no rips, no funny or obnoxious odors. Taking the pictures was a breeze as the interior just looks great! The Interior of this 1999 Mazda is a combination of Black and Blue, a Signature of the 10th Anniversary Edition Package. The Seats are Leather. They are a combination of Black Leather with Blue Suede Inserts. The Carpets and Floor mats are coordinating Black and Blue Color, too. The Floor Mats are embroidered with the 10th Anniversary Edition. You will find touches of Carbon Fiber accenting the front dash for an added touch of class. There is a leather Nardi steering wheel and Gear Shifter, both in Great Condition! Blue and Black interior continues on the gear shifter and steering wheel. Both are leather and in tones of black and blue. The carpeting is Blue, the rear wind shield is black. The floor mats are blue with black embroidery. This 10th Anniversary Miata has a Bose Radio Upgrade with In Dash CD, Cassette and AM FM Radio that Sounds Just Amazing! Even with the top down and cruising the highway, the radio still sounds great! Notice the gauges on this Convertible. I really like the look of this very contemporary update on sport styling. The large, exaggerated gauges are easy to read. These large gauges are easier to read and with just a quick glance you can easily read the speed, rpm, temperature and gas. Power Upgrades surround with Fully Power Windows, Door Locks, Power Side View Mirrors, Cruise Control conveniently located on the steering wheel, Air Conditioning, Tilt Wheel, Multi Point Adjustable Driver Seat, Rear Window Defrost, and more! The Seats are all in Excellent condition. You will not find any major flaws. The 2 front bucket seats are multi adjustable. Both seats flip forward and slide up for access to the area behind the seats. This Miata is nicely loaded with all the power features for a comfortable ride. A Convertible Top, Cruise Control, Ice Cold Air Conditioning, CD Radio with Bose Upgrade and Cassette Player, Power Windows, and More Load this car up! There are cruise controls located on the steering wheel. The fog light and headlamp controls are also located here as well. The buttons for the power windows are in between the front passenger seats. There is also a storage console located in between the seats. There is a cup holder in this console. Included with this Miata is 1 two tone, blue and black key. Overall the Interior of this Miata is well equipped and in better condition than I would expect. I usually see more wear and tear on a 1999 model convertible, but this Mazda has obviously been loved. Under the Hood:This Mazda Miata has a super powerful and fun to drive 1.8L 4 Cylinder engine that still gets 29+ miles per gallon. It generates 140 horsepower at 6,500 RPM and 119 pounds of torque at 5.50 RPM's. The fun to drive 6 speed transmission shifts perfectly. This car passed VA State Safety Inspection without needing a single repair. This inspection is valid thru 5/11! Driving Impressions: I Love driving this Convertible!
