1981 Ford Fairmont Futura 4 Door Sedan, Straight 6 Engine Here is an older Ford sedan that still runs and drives. It may not look all that pretty but it's cheap and is easily fixed. It will crank up and drive, the motor kinda shakes some, I think a motor mount might need replaced. But I am not a mechanic so I'm not sure. The valve cover gasket can use a change also, due to some oil around the edge of gasket.The engine does not smoke, and transmission shifts fine.The AC actually works and gets cool, but needs a recharge to get good and cold.The radio works still and gauges alsoThe rust that you see is all surface rust, nothing major at all, just needs paint.The body is basically free of dents, a few small dings here and there I'm sure.The rear bumper has a dent as you can see.The door all open and close and windows work.But the driver's door only opens from the inside, the outside handle needs repair.Give this car a good cleaning and some paint and it'll last you.Straight 6 engines seem to last forever with almost no maintenance.Car was used as a mail carrier car up until about 6 months ago.Hasn't been driven too much since then.If you're looking for something cheap for transportation this is it!And surprisingly the AC actually works.Car is located in Slocomb, Alabama, and I have a clear title.I have 2 of these cars for sale, check my other auctions.Pickup is fine, and Delivery can be arranged for a fee.Ask me more for price quotes on delivery.Any questions feel free to ask.
