MUSCLE TRUCK!! CLASSIC! 1977 Chevy Shortbox Stepside BIG BLOCK 454 CHOPPED TOP!! This is a rare 1977 4x4 Chevy Shortbox Stepside with the factory 454 big block! This truck had a COMPLETE FRAME OFF RESTORATION 10 years ago! This includes the DRIVE LINE! It has not seen mud, snow, or even rain!! It has been adult driven ONLY. It is a true peice of history and has been PROFESSIONALLY done. Not the bondo trick. Since the restoration, the truck has had approximately 25,000 miles put on it. It runs and drives EXCELLENT. Dont ask what kind of gas mileage it gets......remember....it has a 454 Big Block that has been worked. I personally dont think it should be a daily driver but it sure can be. Keep in mind, the restoration was 10 years ago, so it is not flawless, but it is to nice for daily driving and not quite the perfect truck for shows, HOWEVER, it could easily be back in perfect show condition. For instance, the truck bed is faded and the cab corners have slightly started to bubble. The under carriage could use a coat of black paint etc. This truck handles nice on the highway as well as in town. I just drove the truck 100 miles THEN took the pictures when I got back. So as you can see it is in very nice shape! I didnt doctor up anything. It has: Chopped top 6 Inches Safari Sun Roof- comes completely off! Air, Tilt, Electric Windows and doors (ALL WORK!) Bucket Seats All Glass is Good Rancho 4 Inch Lift 33 Inch Tires with slot wheels from its generation Detailed under the hood Original SPARE TIRE THAT USES THE CANISTER TO FILL UP. Canister is under the hood in the factory spot. Wood Bed Custom Tailgate and bumper 454 Big Block 400 Transmission (No clunking when engaging in forward or reverse) Balanced driveshafts Synthetic Oils Dual Exhausts Even the clock works! Needs: AIr conditioning needs charging Wood bed needs to be re-stained. Just faded, not rotten. Undercoat updated The oil was just changed. You can drive this truck home. It is very solid and drives as nice or better than it did when it was new! NO JUNK. Over $10,000 in parts during restoration 10 years ago and that does NOT include the professional labor! THE RESERVE IS SET VERY LOW! I am selling because I want to get a 1979-1981 Trans Am. Plus I have a Jeep that is just getting done at the restoration shop and my wife wants one of them gone!
