1982 Honda Gold Wing

1982 GL1100 Goldwing Interstate for sale for parts. Offered for parts because it pops out of 4th gear. Starts and rides nicely - shifts through all other gears nicely. Doesn't cough or hesitate so carbs are synchronized correctly and in good working order. No other unusual noises or leaks noticed. Tires and starter have less than 10,000 miles on them and are in good shape. So are the brakes. Stops firmly and without any fade or pull. All fiberglass (sidebags, rear bag side covers, fairing, lower fairings) are on it, although have some cracks here and there, but nothing too severe. Paint is poor. Was touched up by previous owner and parts of the original Wineberry paint have been overpainted with a pinkish color and in some spots gray. Chrome is fair - some rust but not too bad, could be cleaned up. Seat has been patched in several small places - overall fair.Clarion radio/intercom system but doesn't work. Radio station indicator lights up, but doesn't scroll through the stations and no sound from the speakers. Tach. doesn't work, but speedometer does. All lights work. Volt gauge is missing, but was checked and puts out a good charge. Battery holds a charge. Cranks over and starts immediately and runs smoothly. Exhaust system has been patched in several places and leaks, but isn't too loud yet. Windshield is not cracked or broken but is severly yellowed and can't see through it. I bought this a short time ago for the sidecar that was attached to it and have tried to describe it as accurately as possible. Any other questions - email me and I'll try to answer them.
