Vehicle Detail

1985 M1009 CUCV BLAZER ***Former Military Police*** *Many new parts-Runs and Drives 100%* Up for auction is my latest completed project. I have sold a few of these over the last couple years, and without question, this one runs/drives the BEST!!~~. This one came out of New York Fort Drum. It really runs and drives awesome, it even looks good, (for a camo vehicle). Super responsive. The day we brought it back, it went right over to our mechanic. He is quite an ace with all vehicles, especially CUCV's. Whatever it needed, it got. Then over to the body shop, got new rockers on both sides, and some other rust/body work taken care of. Detailed Information New Glow Plugs New Glow Plug Electronic Module (card that controls glow plugs) New Glow Plug Relay Basically the entire glow plug system is new, this Blazer fires up the first time in seconds after turning the key. Fresh Oil Change Fresh Lube New Air Cleaner New Fuel Filter assembly New batteries OPTIMA style, they look a little small in the huge tray, but are more CCA than that of the Exide 6tls Replaced both Rocker panels Brakes stop on a dime Fresh Anti-freeze No drips or leaks New Ball Joint Brand new spare Speedometer racked, first digit off a bit for some reason, but I have the SF-97 form from the US GOV that shows this is acutal mileage correct. Steers and drives straight down the road Very quick and responsive engine, (best I have had yet) No other owners, direct from US Military Service Not a back yard hack job Heater blows HOT!! All turn signals operate as they should, all electric works as it should Fresh truck bedliner coating on front and rear cargo areas Not a single crack in the dash, was replaced by Military All windows crank and open as intended, even the rear goes up and down as it should All Military Black out lights are operational I did try my hand at adding some CARC black camo paint here and there, looks good, but not perfect. I surely am not a painter, just wanted to dress it up a little. Tires all match - 31/10.50/15 Goodyears NEW with 95% + tread Undercarriage is super clean Has some little rust inside and outside, not much, but I am a bit fussy I encourage anyone local, or anyone interested to please stop by and drive/inspect this vehicle. Nothing to hide here. You will not be disappointed. Keep in mind this is a 25 year old Military that was in active service. It is not a show truck, and really needs not much other than a new owner. I need to make room for my next project, a M1008 pickup that is at the Mechanics now. This vehicle is located near Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pennsylvania, and is sold "as is" no warranties expressed or implied. I really encourage you to stop by and drive this Blazer. You will really appreciate what I explained above by visually inspecting and operating. Most of my listings never make it to the end, once a prospective buyer sees the vehicle, they end up heading to the Notary with me to transfer, and drive home. SO BRING CASH!! I am sure I missed some items, but I encourage you to ask questions, and bid accordingly. I also have this listed locally, and have many people interested. I will not give it away, as I have a lot into this one,(probably too much), but will be happy to make a few dollars, and move on to my next project.
