Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1965 Mustang Coupe. I bought this car and have had work done and it is getting there but needs more work. Forced to sell do to wife's uncle losing house and so I have no garage for it. An me and my wife are now not working so I will not have any money for some time. 1. New Floor pans and floor to firewall extensions 2. New rear frame rails 3. New trunk pan 4. New passenger side quarter panel 5. New taillight panel 6. New passenger side door 7. New fuel tank 8. New fuel sending unit (still in box) 9. Engine block and heads machined with new valves in heads and a new crankshaft (289) 10. A complete weather stripping kit for the doors and windows and such (still in box) 11. New headliner (still in box) 12. New driver side front frame rail (still in box) 13. Passenger side front frame patch. 14. New Passenger side front fender apron 15. New radiator support 16. A new set of brake drums (still in boxes) 17. The inner cowl has new patches on both sides The car has had por-15 and undercoating put on the inner cowl, under the dash, the floor pans, behind the quarter on the wheel wells, the trunk pans, and the inside of the roof, etc. This should keep the rust off the new panels for years to come. I have some receipts for some of the work and may be able to find the others by the time it is picked up. I have more than $5000 dollars in this car from the parts and labor on the floor pans, rear frame rails, trunk pans, quarter panel, door, cowl patches, and other parts. Not counting what I paid for the car to begin with. This car will have to be towed as it is not together. If I had a little more time (and money) I may have been able to have it done but the way it is I need to move it. With the front frame rails repaired the car could just be bolted back together, painted, and enjoyed. The title is clear and in my possession. Email if you need to see more photos or need more information. $125 deposit due when auction ends. I have 2 weeks to move the car so please only bid if you can come get it soon. Thank you in advance for looking and hopefully bidding. I can be called at 606-743-4087, ask for Matthew. Car is located in West Liberty, Kentucky 41352.
