2004 Triumph Thunderbird

2004 Triumph Thunderbird Sport. Last year for the 885 Triple in this retro styled bike. Numbers vary as to how many were made and how many were inported into the US. The usually accepted number imported was 150. Triumph used up what frames and motors they had left in the factory for the 2004 Tbird Sport. The Sport series differs from the normal Tbird with more horsepower and adjustable suspension. Basically the Sport is a late 90s sport frame and suspension with the retro looks of the older Triumphs. This one owner bike has 8808 miles. Oil and filters were changed every 3000 miles. Front and rear Melzler tires have less than 200 miles on them. Bike has been garaged when not being ridden. The bike has great torque and handles like a sport bike. She will cruise all day and get 40 MPG. Stock mirrors have been replaced with stainless steel bar end mirrors, front turn signals have been replaced with the stock rear stems which brings them in closer to the bike, there is an after market fly screen and frame sliders. The stock mirrors, owners manual, parts CD, and an extra set of rear fender supports come with the bike. The bike has been down on the right side at low speed in gravel. The powder coating on the right side covers is scratched as shown in the pictures. All emissions controls have been removed from bike by Triumph dealer. Bike will not pass California inspections. Shipping and crating for shipping is the buyer's responsibility. I would prefer local pickup, but I am willing to deliver or meet the buyer within 200 miles of Atlanta for $0.35/mile. A $500.00 non refundable deposit is required within three days of winning the auction with the remaining amount in cash at time of pickup or delivery or prepaid with Paypal prior to pickup.
