I am selling my 78 Ford Thunderbird Town Landau to the first person with cash or money order in hand. I am the second owner and I bought her off a man in Virginia about 5 years ago when gas prices were at their craziest and no one could afford to drive these things around anymore. She had 91,000 miles on her when I got her and has since moved from Virginia to Boston to Philadelphia where she now resides and has 107,000 miles on her. I really don't want to get rid of her cause we've been through some times, but living in this city, she just keeps getting vandalized. I had to put two new tires on her this week where the y had been slashed (the other two are a little over a year old) and last month she was involved in a hit and run while parked and I wasn't home to catch the person. I included pictures of her wear and tear. The driver side far rear panel is where the hit and run happened (that is frost on the top of my car in those pictures because they were taken at night) The driver side seat is starting to split in one of the seams from age and the little splits in the seam of the back window have looked that way since I bought her. She is registered in Virginia and her last inspection just expired but I can get that renewed if need be, I just haven't drove down in a while. She has super dark tinted windows, an awesome stereo system I installed with amp, cd player, and great speakers. There is an alarm on her that locks the doors automatically, power windows, seats, steering, cruise control, new brakes, new alternator, month old battery, new belts and hoses, she does have her original 351 and transmission and super cold AC. She was an anniversary edition so she has stock gold rims with new whitewalls. I was quoted $250 by a local shop to bang out the left rear damage but I'm in a job funk right now and just can't afford to keep up with the vandals. She's been a great car and I would love to see her go to a good home. I tried craigslist, but the only emails I got back were scams so I am asking that this be a pick up only (no shipping anywhere) and preferably cash or money order in hand.
