You are bidding on a Black 2000 Cheverolet Corvette C5 with automatic transmission. Black Leather interior and a removable tinted Targa Top. This car is in great mechanical condition. It runs strong and sounds great! This car has been adult driven and garaged. It has been a long time since it has seen a rain storm. All oil changes done every 2800 miles with Mobil 1 Super Synthetic. Most of the miles are from driving the highways of Houston, TX. I had the belt, harmonic balancer, and waterpump pulley replaced 5 months ago. I also had rear end swapped out to a DTE 373 ratio differential in Feb 2009. My mechanic works only on Corvettes and always comments on how the motor doesn't have a drop of fluid anywhere it's not supposed to. I am only parting ways with the car because I have a 2007 C6 and unfortunately can't afford to keep both of them. This is a True American Muscle Car!! There is about a 1/2" scratch on the back passenger side quarter panel. This happened one day that I was putting the top in the hatch.....very frustrating to say the least! It also has a scratch underneath part of the word "Corvette" on the back where someone thought it would be cute to drag their key along. It is black because I buffed the heck out of it but if you look close you can still see the indention because it's plastic. Lastly the targa top has kind of lost its finish. This is a common problem and it can be buffed or polished to a better shine but I am not brave enough to try.
