**"Buy it Now" and reserve Price Reduced** 1999 Lexus LX470 (100 series Land Cruiser), lifted, 33” tires, steel sliders (Reserve price is lower than "Buy It Now" price) LX470 with upgraded tires, lift, and steel sliders. Eventually steel front and rear bumpers could be added and whatever other upgrades you like to complete the transformation into an true off-road expedition vehicle. It has been well-maintained and gently used almost exclusively on-road. It has only taken it off-road once in the past 3 1/2 years by the current owner. $1200 Over-sized truck tire upgrade (see detail below). $1500 Pioneer touchscreen Nav/stereo/DVD system with a 30GB hard drive for music storage, bluetooth, and ipod/iphone adapter. $1000 Heavy duty Slee Steel Tube Sliders (replaced running boards, 1/4" wall thickness steel tubing) protect the truck off-road and on-road. They are attached to the frame of the truck with very large U-bolts. If a collision were to occur on the side of the truck the rigid steel slider on the side would provide added protection from the impact. 2” lift. $200 Slee differential drop kit installed to reduce strain on the front CV axles because of the lift. AHC (automatic Height Control) will lift the truck another 2” when needed for off-road conditions. Pictures are with AHC on high setting. Essentially a 4” lift above stock height when in high mode for off-roading. You can also lower the truck 2”+ below the normal setting when needed for parking garages or for when others need a ride and they have trouble getting into your tall SUV. Weathertech weather blockers installed on side door windows for venting heat in Summer. They can be easily removed if you want. There is no adhesive on them. 140k highway and city miles. Clean carfax/history. Engine and transmission are in excellent condition. It drives very well, smooth and quiet. If you do not already know this is a Toyota Land Cruiser with many nice upgrades and will last twice as long as other brand SUV's if maintained properly. The Land Cruiser is considered to be the best off-road vehicle in the world for a reason... reliability and sheer off-road strength and ability. There are some exterior cosmetic issues which is why you can get this LX for thousands less than others. For a tank like off-road vehicle the mechanics are more important than cosmetics. The paint is fading and the clear coat is pealing in some spots because of the Lexus defective "smokey topaz" paint and there is a small dent in the right front fender by the side marker. Some dealers around in the US have repainted LX's with this problematic paint, some will pay part, my local dealer will not help at all. If the exterior was in good condition this truck would sell for $15,500 or more with the upgrades it has. Get a great truck for a thousands less and get whatever price-level of paint you want or leave it as is if you like. Instead of spending thousands of dollars on upgrades that are already installed on this LX use a portion of that money saved to get the paint and small dent repaired and you will have a like new LX470 with some nice upgrades for a low price. The interior is in good condition. No tears, rips, or cuts in the leather. No Rust on the truck. The muffler/exhaust pipe has a little rust which is normal with age. All fluids have been maintained regularly and are fully synthetic, including the differential fluid and the grease used in grease fittings. Ceramic brake pads are installed. The AHC fluid has been flushed and replaced with factory AHC fluid. Air filters for climate control were replaced in April 2010. Last synthetic oil and filter change were done 3 months/1000 miles ago. Timing belt done at 113K. Maintenance records and manuals(LX and Nav) will be transferred with the vehicle. There is a master on/off switch for the rear climate control to turn it off when not needed.] $1200 tire upgrade detail: Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor truck tires, 33”, 305/70R16. An excellent all around truck tire that is quiet on the road. ¾ of tread left. They are very durable and should last another 50,000 miles depending on your driving habits/conditions. They have some internal Kevlar for strength and some insulation for added noise comfort. With these tires the LX still rides well on the road but has serious off-road capability that is not available with the factory tires. In my opinion the factory recommended tires are way too soft/spongy for this heavy truck. They make it a purely on-road truck and mock the hardcore nature of this vehicle. Its like putting ballet slippers on an MMA fighter… not a good idea. The Goodyear tires installed are a truck tire that is firmer and performs better with handling/cornering and provides a little more rollover safety because they will not flex as much if sharp turning is needed to avoid an accident. They are incredible in wet and/or snowy environments and are great off-road as well. The spare was upgraded also and the spare tire mounting hardware was modified to allow the larger tire to sit up higher to keep it safer from off-road hazards. Please contact me with questions.
