1966 Pontiac GTO Black TriPower 2 Dr Coupe 4 speed manual: Originally Triple Black. THIS IS A REAL '66 GTO (NOT A CLONE). Looks great, runs great, PHS papers documented. The paint of the car is in good condition with a few minor defects, see pictures below of scratch. The paint on the car is not original, although I don't know when it was painted. Both and front and rear chrome bumpers are in excellent condition with no major pitting or scratches. The floor pan is solid with very little surface rust. There is some bondo in rear panels on driver's side. Trunk pan has some rust and there is a scratch on rear driver side panel, see picture below. This was caused from transport, I was told. INTERIOR The interior is finished in its original color of black vinyl with high back bucket seats in front and bench seat in rear. Both front and back seats look great with no tears. The headliner and the black carpet flooring are in great condition. The AM radio appears to be the original radio. Both door panels look great showing some minor wear. ENGINE The tri-power V-8 drives great and has plenty of power. Front and rear carbs matching (missing tag on center, but appears to be same on other two). The transmission is a four-speed manual that shifts with no problems. The clutch is strong and has no chatter. This is not the original engine for the car, but it is an early model Pontiac. Look below for codes. I have a folder of documentation for maintenace on the car done since the late 80's. There is nothing wrong with the car, but I simply don't drive it enough. It's a fun car and I hope that someone else can enjoy it as much as i have.
