For sale here is a 1998 Ford Escort ZX2 Sport and it is the "HOT" edition. The car currently has 127,344 miles on it and has a clear title. The car is in decent shape with normal wear for a 12 year old car. Interior is a gray cloth material and has no rips or tears in the seats. Engine runs good and the transmission shifts smoothly, I've never had a problem with either of them. The trans was flushed about 1000 miles ago and I just changed the oil this week. Below is some more information from a Ford website. Arriving in spring 1997, as an early '98 model, was a sporty 2 door Escort ZX2 coupe. The ZX2 was offered in two trim levels, dubbed "Cool" and "Hot." Though it shared the regular Escort's chassis, the ZX2 had unique exterior and interior styling, sportier suspension settings, and the more powerful 130 horsepower DOHC 2.0L Zetec engine originally used in the Contour. The sedan had a "Sport" package which consisted of an upgrade in gauges, alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, a chrome exhaust tip, and "Sport" decals.
