NO RESERVE!! WOW! This is a truly awesome BARN FIND! A one owner 1961 Mercury Comet with 77,732 miles! White with blue interior, this one is ready for restoration. The engine is a 144ci 6 cylinder, transmission is the Comet Drive 2-speed. Overall, a great find in and out. I have done my best to show the worst spots, such as the trunk lid (there is some daylight there!), and the front edge of the hood. Note that the gear selector lever is broken, so it is sitting in neutral right now. As there is no battery in it, I did not attempt to start it, but I am told it does run. This car comes with the original purchase order, title, manual and keys! According to the buyers order, the following options were included: radio, heater, automatic transmission, padded dash, tinted windshield, side mirror and deluxe trim. The vehicle was purchased new at Lawrence Lincoln-Mercury in Bradenton, Florida on June 25, 1960.The title was issued October 19, 1960. No liens recorded, the title is clean and open.
