I am the second owner of this 1996 Chevy Astro. This van has a few issues that could probably be resolved without major expense. It will occasionally not start. This seems to occur more often in damp weather. I am guessing that a thorough tuneup may correct the problem. When it does start right up, like it did today when I moved it to take pictures of it, it runs strong and has no taps or misses in the engine. The service engine light comes on randomly but will also go off by itself, indicating an intermittent issue. The A/C does not seem to be working. Apparently, there is a leak because it will work for a little if you add refrigerant. It may be nothing more than a loose fitting but not sure. Transmission operates and shifts perfectly. Tires are in very good condition with at least 70% tread left on them. Exterior is in good condition (as the photos show) with no major rust but there are the normal scratches and a few dings. The interior is in fair condition with no major rips in the seats. The power seats, windows, and locks all work. The cruise control works fine.
