1965 Ford 2-Ton w/ 8' Western Plow Rebuilt V8 motor runs great - many new parts - truck is in typical, 45-year old condition Think of it like this: buy an excellent working 8' Western Plow, get a truck for free! Strong V8 would also make an excellent swap-motor to put in something else. Rebuilt 10,000 miles ago. Runs great. 8' Hydraulic Western Snow Plow works perfect, with joystick control for up, down, left, right. You can drive this truck home!!! The Good Stuff: Strong running V8 [283 I think], rebuilt about 10k miles ago by previous owner. Starts great, runs strong, idles smoothe New cap, rotor, plugs, wires, solenoid, voltage regulator, oil/air/fuel filters 8-Speed manual tranny, 4-forward speeds with Hi and Low gears, plus reverse. All gears and 2-speed rearend work. Glass is all good with exception of a crack on driver's side {cosmetic only}, no leaks Windows roll up/down, wipers works, good heater/defrost, original radio works [am only], all lights works, turn signals work, drive it home! Some new brake lines in the rear [loose chain took out a line last winter], so new brake fluid throughout, too. Brakes work well. Tires are usable, which means they hold air great and are not deteriorating unsafely. However, they are old and vary in tread from 80% at best to some 30%. Tire Chains Included Clear Title in hand Known Issues Clutch works but pressure plate may be going. You can shift, but occasional grinding in some gears. I always let the RPMs fall, then it shifts fine. Battery is included, but it is no good. Won't hold a charge. But hey, you'll have an old one to get your core back on the new one you will need to provide. Truck is 45-years old. You can expect typical, outdoor storage condition. However, all systems are functional. We used this truck to plow our 2.5-mile private neighborhood road for the last 4 seasons, including in 20-below weather. Reliable, hard-working truck can push a lot of snow. You could title, plate, and insure this truck and make it an around-town driver, or, use it like we do for on the farm/ranch. With included chains we never got stuck. Move snow, hay, debris, anything you like. Items in the bed are not included. Fence posts will be removed. Spare tire is included.
