You are bidding on one of the most unique Manx Style buggies you will probably ever see. Note: The flat bed and small custom box. Note the large poster and the photos. We call this the 67 VW "Truggy". I purchased this vehicle from a life long friend only a few months ago. He owned it for approx. 1 year. He bought it from the person who had just completed the project. As it sits in my garage right now it has less then 350 miles, everything is new and fresh. The vehicle has absolutely no guages, however it is still street legal and licensed. I know how much my friend drove it to his local store and I know the distances I have traveled, thus less then 350 miles. I am not much of a gear head so I will do the best I can to describe the car and the hand written list I have of what was done to the engine. Car description: Complete welded roll cage/frame, flawless black paint, dual shocks rear. single front shocks, custom wheels front and back, removable steering wheel, removable kill switch, 5 point seat belts, custom set head lights and running lights, custom led lighting on top of flag whip, very nice custom and comfortable bucket seats. Engine description: New 1835cc built by Johnson's Bug Machine (San Diego) Blue printed 8.25-1 compression, machine block, aluminum shroud, Gina pistons and liners, Zgat rings, intake valves 37.5 x33 s.i.industry, cam-Eagle 120-scat gear, Crank Demelco counter balanced 6.9 rods, rods balanced and blueprinted, cluth-Sacffs 200mm 1500 lb solid disk, Heads-dual port stock w/heavy duty springs and Crome retainers, Carb-Zenith 32N7X-7010, Headers-1 1/2 with muffler, trans completely rebuilt 12v-long axel? Many other items too much to list. This car starts immediately and runs according to everything being new. The pictures do not do this little buggy justice. It has never been taken off road. I think she is just too pretty for that.
