You are bidding on a frame off restoration 1956 chevy stepside pick-up. It is a longbed with new oak bed boards and ware strips. It has the original 235 in-line 6cyl. engine and original 3 speed transmission with column shift and foot starter. Interior includes bucket seats and center console, yellow and white paint in cab with grey carpet. It has the original speedo cluster, but we have added aftermarket tack, gauges and turn signals. Paint on body is an enamel both yellow and blue flames with no clear coat. Paint job is good but not perfect. All the weather strip is brand new, as well as side glass, windshield and rear glass are original with new window seals. The truck right from the start was stripped down to the bare frame on saw horses. Frame was sandblasted, primed and painted with yellow enamel. The suspension and drive line was cleaned, inspected and re-painted then assembled with all the necessary new bushings and seals. Brake pads and hardware kits are all new along with all new steel and rubber brake lines. Master cylinder is a manual that is in the original location under drivers floor and has been re-built. Emergency brake is in good working condition. The wheels are aluminum 6 lug Center Line Racing with Goodyear Wrangler 235/75/R15 tires, that were purchased less than a year ago. Steering is manual with the original steering box, but we have added a Flaming River Steering Wheel. Many new parts have been added to the truck, almost too many to list, but here are some of them: Flex fan, Chrome water pump pulley, Chrome valve cover and side plates, KNN Oil filter, Mr. Gasket electric fuel pump, Braid on hoses, all hoses are new, Door handles, mirrors, blue dot tail lights, front marker lights, reverse lights, Tailgate chains, Center caps, as well as many others.
