Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Up for auction is my 2003 Saturn LW300 station wagon. This is a NO RESERVE auction and this car will be sold to the highest bidder. I am the original owner of this vehicle, it was purchased by my wife and I here in Denver and it has been a western vehicle since new. The car currently has 86,262 miles on it, most of which have been spent commuting back and forth to work. All maintenance has been performed by the dealership with the exception of oil and filter changes which I have performed religiously by myself. This is a loaded vehicle and has every option available in 2003 with the exception of the DVD system. V6, auto, leather, seat heaters, power windows, locks, mirrors, OnStar, chrome wheels, 6-CD changer, climate control, front and side airbags, traction control, clear bra, etc. The car runs and drives very well and has been getting 23mpg going back and forth to work. Interior is still very nice with little signs of wear. The fine Corinthian leather is still beautiful. Exterior is decent, it does have some minor scratches and evidence of a minor parking-lot run-in with a pickup on the tailgate and rear bumper. And I did drive into the garage with bikes on top once, you can see the remnants of this in the roof picture. But all things considered, this vehicle has been garaged its entire life, has never been in a crash, and looks great for being 8 years old. We have maintained the vehicle very well. It has new Continental all-season radials with about 10k on them, a new(ish) windshield, a new battery, new fuel pump (1 yr ago), a transmission flush at 65k, and many new parts which were installed at the dealer under the car's extended warranty, including a new rack and pinion, a new power steering pump, new master computer, and new sway-bar end-links. Car has newish front brake rotors and pads with lots of life left on them. Recent carpet shampoo also. Never had a pet in it and never been smoked in. No funky smells. Of course the car is used and is not perfect. There are a few things to note: 1. The A/C has suddenly stopped blowing cold. The compressor was replaced and the system recharged at the dealership about four years ago but again has just recently stopped blowing cold air. Hopefully it just needs a recharge. 2. The heating system is working fine but the little temperature control readout screen on the console is not showing the actual temperature anymore. 3. One of the foglights is missing and the other is not functioning. I must have popped it loose on a low curb at one point. The dealer wants $122. for a new one. 4. The tailgate latch works but is a little temperamental concerning which buttons to push. It has been replaced once. 5. One of the two key fobs is not working and needs to be re-programmed. 6. The steering wheel has a very small amount of play in it coming from the steering column. The wife cannot feel it but I do, though it is barely noticeable. The dealership mechanic rolled his eyes and said not to worry about it. 7. Due to the car's ride height the front fascia has been bumped into many parking curbs in its 8 years. So there are lots of little scratches under there that are not noticeable and some new hardware holding the fascia on. The three-bike Thule roof rack is included. The class-1 trailer hitch is included - I literally used this one time to pull my little 4 x 6' utility trailer before I got a pickup truck. I also have some minor extras that go with the car such as new rear pads and rotors, touch up paint, etc. I am in possession of the clear title and the original window sticker. Note also that my opening bid is less than half of the KBB private-party value. Please ask if you have any questions! I have done my very best to be honest and forthright concerning the car's strengths and weaknesses. I pride myself on being a fair and honest person to deal with. Please check my eBay statistics and you will see that I have hundreds of transactions as both buyer and seller on eBay with the same account for over TEN years. I have a 100% feedback rating. I have sold many cars on eBay over the years. Please ask your questions and bid with confidence! I would like a $500. deposit via PayPal within 48 hours of the auction close, and then cash or certified funds for the balance within 7 days unless arranged otherwise in advance. The car of course is used with no warranty expressed or implied, and sold as-is, where-is. I will work with you to take delivery of car. Car is in Denver, CO. Fly-in, drive home. I'd drive this car anywhere and I can meet you at the airport. Or I can drop the car off locally at the shipper of your choice. Thank you very much! -Wakeman On May-17-10 at 23:11:35 PDT, seller added the following information: To those of you in the Denver area, you are very welcome to come see and drive the car. Just drop me a line to set it up. Thanks!
