1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL I have been working on this car since October 30, 2006 and have invested untold hours of labor plus over $30,000.00 dollars in parts receipts but unfortunately have to sell it now. This car was not built to be a show car and so should not be expected to be totally pristine underneath but the rest is in good solid number 2 condition. Like all projects it is not totally done and there may be other areas that need attention besides what is listed but I have tried to list everything I know of. Built in Canada’s Oakville Plant this car has the following factory options: XL Package, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Top, Deluxe Day Night Mirror, Crested Left Door Mirror, AM / FM Stereo, Factory Reverberator Unit, Cruise-o-matic Automatic Transmission, 390 CID 4 Barrel Engine, 9” rear end, Dual Exhaust System, 2 Speed Wiper Motor With Washer System. The following options have been added: 427 Cast Iron NASCAR Style Exhaust Manifolds, Stainless Steel Dual Exhaust with “Flowmaster” Mufflers, 406 Tri-Power Intake Manifold, 406 / 427 Fuel Lines & Filter, 427 “Baldy” Valve Covers, 406 Fender Emblems, C-6 Transmission With E4OD Gears Upgrade, Griffin Heavy Duty Aluminum Radiator. The following parts have been purchased but not installed: Dual Master Cylinder, New Power Brake Booster, New Disc Brake Spindles, New Disc Brake Rotors, New Disc Brake Calipers, and New Lower Control Arm Bushings. It also needs the front bumper re-chromed.
