1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet We offer our online customers a full guarantee on the purchase of any of our vehicles. We are primarily in the automobile wholesale business, and although we have been registered on eBay for many years, we are now listing select vehicles for sale to the public as well. This is a gorgeous 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet that was traded in with 57,327 original miles. There is no doubt that this Porsche was the pride and joy of the owner. Everything about this car indicates that it was meticulously treated and maintained. What makes this 944 an extremely desirable example is everything from the magnificent condition it is in, to the very low mileage, and the extras that the owner kept with it. I can’t imagine there are many 944 Cabriolets left in the country in this condition. The condition of this car the way it is seen in the photos below is exactly the way we received it. It was not necessary to perform any maintenance or detailing to this vehicle at all. I believe this 944 is in completely original condition without any modifications or alterations. I am not a Porsche expert, but I have included a very detailed description below. However, if you have any concerns that you feel were not adequately addressed, please feel free to contact me. Lets start with some facts and information about this Porsche: There have been only two owners since new. This car originally came from Reno Nevada. The second owner purchased this 944 in 1986. For the past few years, this 944 spent most of it time sitting in the owner’s garage and was rarely driven. The Autocheck report is clean without any negative history. The Autocheck score for this Porsche is nearly twenty points above the average high score. The title is clean and clear, and there aren’t any liens or encumbrances on this car. This 944 has been maintained and serviced by Porsche at various times, and we were given quite a few service records with this car that we can pass along. The original convertible boot cover is included, along with the roof release tools. The original floor mats are showing some wear, but they are included as well. The owner manuals and the original window sticker of $52,405 are also included. The options on this car include the full leather interior, and both power front seats. The 3.0L engine runs smoothly and very strong. A full tune-up was performed less than a month ago, which included new spark plugs, spark plug wires, and distributor cap & rotor. This car starts, idles, runs and accelerates beautifully. The transmission shifts and operates flawlessly. The clutch engages smoothly and it feels perfect. There are a complete set of BF Goodrich tires on this car that showing nearly all of their tread. This Porsche runs and drives extremely well. There aren’t any squeaks, rattles or suspension noises when driving. There aren’t any service warning lights on in this car. We also had a safety check and road test performed on this car. Every power item and feature in this 944 is working, and I believe that I have checked them all, including the power windows, door-locks, seats, convertible top and air conditioning. The stereo works properly and sounds good. All of the gauges and instrumentation are working correctly. The interior in this 944 is in terrific condition. All of the interior trim pieces are intact, tight and in extremely good condition. The dash pad is perfect. There isn’t any cracked or damaged trim inside this car. The leather seats are in excellent condition. The rear seat shows a little aging even though it was probably never used. The front seats are in excellent condition. The leather steering wheel is also in excellent condition. The carpeting is super clean and fluffy without any damage. This was a non-smoker owned vehicle. The exterior of this 944 is in fabulous condition. The paint itself is in fantastic condition with nothing other than a few stone nicks. The body is straight as an arrow and there aren’t any dents or scratches anywhere. All of the trim on this car is intact, tight and in excellent condition. Both of the bumpers are in excellent condition. There aren’t any cracks or damage on any of the exterior lights or lenses. The owner had the original canvas top replaced in 2008 at a cost of $2200. There aren’t any holes, loose stitching, or damage to the top and it is still like new. The polished factory alloy wheels are super clean, and in terrific condition. I can’t imagine that this car will last long, so you are welcome to call me if interested. WARRANTY: This vehicle will be sold AS-IS with no warranty expressed or implied by the seller. However, the buyer will be offered the option to purchase an additional Extended Service Warranty for all applicable vehicles. The title is guaranteed to be free and clear. There will be no liens or encumbrances on the title. The stated odometer reading is within +/- 500 miles. PICK-UP: We are approximately 15-minutes from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), the Amtrak 30th Street Train Station, and the Greyhound Philadelphia Bus Station. We may be able to pick you up at any of these stations, so please inquire if interested. We are open from 9AM to 5PM weekdays only, and are closed on weekends. REGISTRATION, TITLES & FEES: Out of state purchasers do not pay any Pennsylvania sales tax. A $60 fee will be added to the final sale price of each online transaction, which will cover document fees and preparation, notarizations, and FedEx or expedited courier costs. Temporary Transit Tags are available through the state of PA for $40, which will provide valid registration for a period of 30 days. In order to obtain this tag, please provide proof of insurance for any vehicle that you presently own. The title is immediately available to the buyer upon full certified payment, and if certified payment is confirmed by your bank. Otherwise, the title will be sent to you after payments are confirmed. Occasionally, a title is still being processed by the state and we will issue free temporary registration. All vehicles we sell on eBay are stored in a secured facility. Because we have limited storage space, we require that all vehicles be picked up within ten days of auction completion. We can sometimes allow a few extra days for pickup if needed, depending on the type of vehicle. Storage charges after ten days will be charged at $15/day.
