Vehicle Detail

This vehicle has been owned by a single owner and maintained per manufacturers recommendations. The engine runs great and burns no oil, transmission seems sound. Major maintenance includes: Auto transmission fluid/filter changed at 50K and 100K Oil changed regularly 100K major electrical tune up performed, radiator hoses and coolant flushed Accessory drive belt changed Tires have good rubber on them. Front wheel bearings recently changed. Purchaser should be aware that this vehicle is NOT in GOOD condition, it is in FAIR condition. It has a number of nuisance issues as follows. Buyer should be aware of these and that this vehicle is being sold “AS IS” with NO warrantee either express or implied. Issues I am aware of include, but may not be limited to: Head lamp and Turn Signal enclosures leak water and are misted. Problem was solved by drilling 3/8” weep hole in the bottom of each Head Lamp lens. Air Conditioning Unit does not work ABS Warning light illuminated – ABS Codes C1216, C1224, C1225, C1235, C1247 ---- All for right rear wheel Traction Control/Traction Control Off Warning lamps both illuminated – Cause Unknown—but seems related to ABS lamp. Check Engine Light On – Cause is a blower motor that recycles exhaust gases back into intake air. This has been a problem for several years and does not impact engine performance. Temporary fix to pass NYS Inspection is to replace fuse, reset Check Engine Light, and to drive the vehicle for a couple hundred miles to reset the electronics to pass NYS Inspection. Lamp usually does not come back on for 500 miles or more. Engine Codes P0410, P1546 Aux. Air Pump Circuit Cabin blower control has five setting, 1-5. Air only blows at setting 4 and 5. Settings 1, 2 and 3 do not blow air. Drivers side rear door does not auto lock/unlock with rest of vehicle, must be done manually-problem is in electrical contacts on the door. This door had been replaced due to fender bender in parking lot a number of years ago. Damage was limited to door only—not current mechanical issues have resulted. Passenger side motorized rear door does not open. Seems frozen in locked position—however cause unknown. On board air compressor has broken rubber tube coming out of it that would need to be repaired for air compressor features to be used as well as auto load leveling features. Rear shocks appear to be leaking. As seen in photos body side rust on both panels just in front of rear wheels. Passenger side rust is more significant then driver side. Rear window wiper does not operate. Over head console intermittently displays wrong OD temperature. Fuel Gauge operates but is erratic making it unreliable to us as fuel gauge. Carpeting and seats have some staining consistent with young family use for a 10 year period. All panels on the vehicle have some imperfection due to 10 years of use. Scrapes, small dings, etc. but nothing considered major. Hood has several areas of bubbling paint--largest area the size of a soda can top. Rear temperature control does not work, blowers operate fine.
