Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1932 Ford roadster pickup truck. This truck runs and drives good. It is currently registered as a 1932 Ford pickup here in So Cal.. The truck drives and stops straight. This roadster is a absolute blast to drive. All steel except for the grill shell which is fiberglass. The frame was built by me out of 2" X 4" rectangular steel that is 1/8" thick. The front suspension consists of mostly 1933 Ford components and has the front wishbones split. A Ford 1932 crossmember that's been dropped 1" sits up front. Reveresed eye front spring. The front brakes are 1947 Ford juice brakes. 1965 Mustang brake master cylinder. The radiator is out of a 1965 6 cylinder Mustang, the truck has never overheated. Automatic electric fan. The engine is a 1965 Ford Mustang 289 that is completely stock with a 2 barrel carb and a manual choke. Transmission is a C4 automatic out of a 1965 Mustang. Both the engine and transmission have oil leaks. The 8" rear axle is out of a 1964 1/2 Mustang with a unknown gear ratio, probably 3:55 or 3:73. Pete And Jakes rear ladder bars with coil over shocks. This truck does not have a emergency brake or a speedometer. This truck and it's components have unknown mileage.1967 Lincoln seat belts. 1940's Ford wheels. F1 steering collumn. New tires. The pickup bed has very small dings in it here and there and the upper bed rails are not perfectly straight. The paint has small chips in it here and there. The headers have baffles in them. Functional glove box. 1935 Ford car dash with rare ash tray. I'll be adding more pictures later in this auction. Bid to win. I've never shipped a vehicle but I'm willing to ship it anywhere in the world. I will not end this auction early so don't ask. The truck gets compliments wherever it goes and seems to have a knack for getting women to practicaly jump out of their vehicles at freeway speeds to get a picture of it. Did I mention... it drives and stops straight and that it's a absolute blast to drive. On May-12-10 at 16:37:18 PDT, seller added the following information: The truck doesn't shake at any speed that I've driven it to (85+ mph), it never wobbles or feels funny, and it doesn't have any bump steer. I have never investigated the oil leaks that it has so I don't know where they're coming from. The truck gets driven at least 3 times a week. The truck weighs 1900 pounds empty. On May-12-10 at 19:17:19 PDT, seller added the following information: I've put up 3 short video's of this truck on photobucket, here are the links: http://s950.photobucket.com/albums/ad349/rodshot32/?action=view¤t=DSCI0747.flv http://s950.photobucket.com/albums/ad349/rodshot32/?action=view¤t=DSCI0748.flv http://s950.photobucket.com/albums/ad349/rodshot32/?action=view¤t=DSCI0749.flv
