Vehicle Detail
PRICE REDUCED TO SALE !!! 1986 Porsche Carrera Coup, Charcoal with Black leather interior, 158k miles. 3.2 liter engine. This car is a very clean, inside and out. Electric sun roof, electric windows, adjustable electric heated seats (both passenger and driver), upgrade full leather interior, 5 speed manuel transmission, A/C, electric mirrors, central locking control, rear window defrost, clock works, original 7" and 8" Fuch wheels. Bridgestone Pole Position tires are close to new on rear and mabey 75% at front. I believe the interior and paint are both original. (possible respray on the paint, definately original color). Still has original tool pouch and air compressor. Recently I have replaced brakes, rear wheel bearings and fuel pump. Car runs strong and very tight. In spirit of full disclosure, there are some small rock chips at front of car, 1st and 2nd gear synchos are worn (common in the lighter pre g50 transmission) still drives, just takes a little more effort to shift and can't downshift aggressively in 1st or 2nd, window switch is loose at drivers side, AC blows cold but leaks freon, I believe it needs new lines. I was told when I purchased the car a couple of years ago that the engine had been rebuilt at about 100k miles. I do not have any documentation on it. The engine does run very strong and is very dry (none of the oil leaks that are common on these cars.) If you have ever driven a 3.2 liter air cooled Porsche, you know it is a one of a kind experience. The speed, the handling, the sound; these cars are fantastic. I used to own a '72 454 corvette, the corvette turned more heads, but as far as being practical and high speed driving, I would take the Porsche anytime. Oh, and it gets over 20 mpg. Here is a link with additional pictures, to the company whom I purchased the car from... If you have questions or would like specific pictures, please inquire here or call , Cary. **please do not bid if you not serious about purchasing**
