Vehicle Detail

Beautiful little suvivor in really good condition. This is a four speed w/ clutch (not automatic!) I purchased this bike from a fellow in Rocky Mount who could not figure out how to get her running. The woodriff pin had been sheared and the timming and valve settings were way off since the rotor was about 15 degrees off. My buddy and I fixed that, cleaned and rebuilt the carb, and installed a new fuel filter adjusted the valves and timing. I rebuilt the forks with new seals and the right fork required a new 27mm fork guide. I changed the oil, spark plug, ignition coil (used from eBay) and fork oil. I had to remove the clutch cover to clean the oil pump screen, so the clutch cover gasket has been replaced. I replaced all of the 6v lightbulbs rebuilt the ignition switch with one off of a xl80. The original key fits all of the locks and the ignition because I retained the lock cylinder during the rebuild. All electrics work including the horn. The headlight was originally a 15 watt sealed beam which costs over 30 bucks new, but I have engineered the lamp to accept 25 watt replaceable 2.00 bulb like th ones that fit ct70's while retaining OEM appearance. The side covers are free of any cracks, and the Batterry is brand new. The only things missing from this bike are the mirrors, chain gaurd, and the tool kit which come up on eBay from time to time. The tank is rust and dent free and the paint is really nice. The seat has a little tear on the bottom edge This old girl will start first kick most every time without the choke. I weigh 220 and we got up to 55 in the subdivision (all my neighbors hate me!), but with a little less weight and some fine tuning, I'm sure she could reach 60. The compression test showed 146 psi. I have some extra carb parts, air filter, and some other wiring bits. A Clymer repair manual will be included as well as a Bill of Sale. I have ran the vin # through the police data base with no theft history. I do not have a title nor do I have ant intrest in getting one, but she is street legal and can be registered if a title can be produced. Photobucket
