Vehicle Detail
One of 1717 '71 XR7 Convertibles ever built. Mileage listed is what is displayed and is probably not correct but is limited to the mechanical limits of the odometer (99,999). Clear Box A title. It has a 351 V8 (H code) with a nearly new Holley 4 bbl carb. Auto transmission and posi-traction rear end (1 of 208). Power steering with the original Rim Blow steering wheel, power brakes, tilt wheel, factory air conditioning (needs new hoses) & front disc brakes. Relatively new paint but has a small crack on driver's side rear quarter panel where something slid in the trunk and hit it from the inside. The white convertible top is in good condition and operates well but sometimes needs a little help to get moving from the down position (don't we all?). Nearly new BF Goodrich Radial TA's sitting on brand new Cragar chrome wheels and center caps. Fresh chrome on the front and rear bumpers. Nearly new upholstery, dash and carpet and matching convertible boot (has several small holes and a couple of tears but still is usable and looks good). It has a slight vibration at speeds over 65 that is noticeable but doesn't affect performance. It has 4 brand new halogen headlights and the sequential turn signals still work perfectly. Drives, performs and sounds very good. Can still set you back in the seat and is a real head turner! Tons of thumbs up while driving down the road. I reserve the right to end the auction early since the car is also for sale locally. The car is sold as is so if you want to have the car checked out, please do so before bidding.
