You are bidding on a 2003 Volkswagen Beetle. This convertible is fully loaded with options such as: power windows, power locks, leather, alloy wheels and much more. The Beetle's exterior color is BABY BLUE- this is a sought after color. We have had the car for a little over a year. The engine starts right up. Had oil change with synthetic Mobile 1. It is currently registered under my name and has current plates and inspection sticker. Nice car to drive around in the summer time and turns heads everywhere you go. Air bags have been deployed, but plastic has been reset on dash. Transmission has hard shifting- probably needs to be replaced or repaired. Reverse does not work and when placed in 'Drive' shifts erratically into lower gears and up again. Has a transmission oil leak (don't know where it's coming from). I recommend a tow dolly or car transport service. I don't recommend driving it. Don't know what it is and local shops can't diagnose problem unless they open it up. We don't want to bother with it and would rather just let it got at this price. Has minor cosmetic items that need to be addressed such as: seat belt cover fascia, driver door needs stopper, glass on convertible top needs to be re-glued. I will not hand over car with plates, registration sticker, or blank title. I will have to write purchase price with bill of sale.
