This ole Ford is really special though at first glance it appears to be a run of the mill pick up truck. The current owner of this truck has had it in his care for over 20 years! Preventative maintenance was crucial to him for the trucks survival and critical in regards to its dependability for his business. As proudly displayed on the side of the truck “Georges Auto Service” relied on this vehicle for many deliveries and performance as an alternate vehicle in its lifetime. If it were not for the owners retirement this classic Ford would not be for sale! This truck doesn’t have the in line six cylinders that most came equipped with ….no she still sports the powerful 390 work horse! There are days that we still think that this truck could pull a tank if need be {highly unlikely}, however she still can pull a car that won’t start. There has been a few after market performance goodies applied to this F-250 to keep her moving along with the times. A Holley performance carburetor and Holley intake were added to this ole Ford. She also sports 16 inch tires now as well {great handling}! The interior has seen better days; however it is still extremely comfortable! Most people that go along for the ride never want to leave the truck. It’s funny …..there was a customer a few days ago who rode in it who owns a new F-150 who said that the company truck was more comfortable than his own. Lastly there are a few minor rust spots here and there on the body of this classic Ford, but none that are significant enough to cause any problems. No rust holes and no rusted floors. If you are looking for a restoration project or a dependable work truck …..You can’t go wrong investing in this pick up!
