Vehicle Detail
I AM RELISTING THIS AS NO RESERVE Up for bids is this original 1970 ford mustang fastback. It is a project that needs to be restored but it is overall solid. It has surface rust as the pics show but the actual metal and frame sections are solid. The rear frame rails, front frame rails, fire wall, and trunk floor are in excellent shape. The front fenders and roof are also in good shape. The doors are okay. They are solid underneath but have a few rust places on the outside bottom and could be easily fixed. The deck lid is okay. The hood is good underneath but has a rust hole on the top side that could be fixed. The passenger rear quarter has rust at the lower bottom and will need a lower quarter patch panel. The drivers rear quarter is in poor condition. It looks like it had dents in it and somebody did a poor bondo job. I have a rear quarter replacement panel that will go with the car. It can be seen in the pics. I have all the glass for the car. The windshield is cracked but the rest of the hard to find glass is okay. Basically what you see in the pics is what you get. The seats front and back are missing. The motor and transmission are missing. Everything else such as body and interior pieces you see are there. It was manual transmission car and the pedals are still in it. This is a very buildable car that would make a good boss 302 clone or a good original fastback. I have this car forsale locally and reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells. My number is 318-278-1069 if you have any questions. I prefer cash in person when picked up if possible but will accept certified bank check or bank wire transfer. I can store the car as long as needed as long as it is paid for in full. The car rolls good so it will load easy. Please serious bidders only. Please don't waste my time if you don't have any money and can't pay for it. Also ask all the questions you want to before you bid. Once you bid and win the car is yours. Please don't win it and then ask questions later. I am not trying to sound rude just want everybody to understand that they are bidding to buy a car. This is a no reserve auction so high bid takes it home. I am adding this on 5-7-10. Okay I am just wondering what is going on here. I have seen a roof section alone sell for what I have the starting bid on this car so what is the deal. This is a whole car that is fairly solid with a title. What is wrong. Has people quit buying mustangs or is the old car market off that bad.
