1950 Plymouth 3 window Business Coupe Hot Rod Project - I am relisting this for the last time...... the opening bid is $4,500, There is NO Reserve..... Several people have asked for me to Assemble the car for transport, I will put the doors back on the hinges and I will mount the fenders and hood but that's about it, The engine and tranny mounts have not been installed so the drive train will have to travel out of the car. I have been told by several people that a 20 foot dual axle trailer will handle the transport of the whole project. If health and time would allow I would be assembling the car for myself, and at that time It would not be for sale for just $4,500.00 opening bid. so with that said let's try this one more time. Well where do we start..... first of all the body is in incredibly good shape, no dents or rust, the back glass is good, the windsheild glass will have to be replaced but it is flat glass so an easy fix, as you can see from the pics it has been disassembled as it is a work in progress, The car was started as a totally MOPAR project so everything on it is MOPAR, The Front end is out of a 81 5th Avenue, tortion bar suspension, power steering and disc brakes, this was probably the most labor intensive part of the build and is done, The rear end is out of a Chrysler inperial and is a 9.25 with 3:23 gears and is a posi, the rear had to be shortened 8 inches and was rebuilt with all top quality parts, the axles were custom made by Moser, The leaf springs are from the 81 5th ave, the rear end comes with the disc brake setup, everything is here for it except the rotors. most of the original parts are here and go with the car, the original drive train is long gone as well as the steering collumn. there is a dash in the car but it was missing some parts so there is a complete 1950 dash that I purchased that goes with the car., the gas and brake pedals are from a 70's model Fury, they are not installed yet, The interior is all leather all electric and came from a Durango, Now for the drive train..... The Engine is a 1967 383 that came from a Cuda, I had the block proffesionally preped, bored 20 over and fitted with Keith Black Flat tops, a 280 cam, steel crank, high pressure high volume oil pump, Deep Pan, has freshly redone 906 heads, has a Mopar speed equipment high rise manifold with twin 450 cfm Holley double pumpers with a old school scoop. Motor is almost complete still needs distributor and water pump as I had not made up my mind whether to go with mechanical or electric water pump and was still researching the ignition system. still needs a harmonic balancer. There is no alternator or power steering pump and I had not decided whether to go with air or not so there is a little bit to do there, The transmission is a Mopar 727, still need the torque converter, again as I had not made up my mind yet. Should be plenty of MOPAR Power to push this little coupe down the road. My plans were to make a one piece front end out of the hood and front fenders and grill assmbly and have it tip up. there is no title but I will provide a bill of sale, DMV here said that is all I would need when the project was finished, they would check it over and issue a title. Anyway I could go on and on.......there are a bunch of parts I have not listed. here it is, a 100% Mopar Hot Rod that needs finishing, I have invested alot to get it to this point and am starting the bid at a VERY LOW opening bid. I will not put a reserve on it. PLEASE serious bidders only, $500 must be paid within 24 hours of winning bid and balance upon pick up. Car must be picked up within 10 days of end of auction. If there are any questions I will be happy to answer to the best of my abillity. This is not your Daddy's Plymouth, this is going to make someone a GREAT Rod!!!!! forgot to mention that the front end has all NEW parts, rotors, calipers, pads, tir rod ends, ball joints, etc,
