Super Clean 2002 Jaguar X-Type 2.5 automatic. Car has a strong replacement motor recently installed which has only 35K miles on it and comes with a 4+ month warranty so you can put lots of more miles on this car. Prior motor developed a serious noise so it was replaced for the same $ it would have taken to remove, inspect and repair the damaged motor, as recommended by several local shops who work on Jags. CARFAX report available for both this car and the donor vehicle where the motor came from showing miles and history. New battery put in the car two weeks ago and comes with a 2-year replacement warranty. We are the second owner of this vehicle and is was an extremely clean car when we got it around 33K miles and my wife kept it very clean over the 4 years we've owned it - so you'll be hard pressed to find another '02 in as good shape as this one inside and out. 4 new Firestone Firehawk GT tires were put on the car less than 10K miles ago and they perform very well on the premium jag rims this car comes with. Jaguar dealer performed 60K miles major service less than two years ago. Four wheel brake job performed (pad and rotors replaced) by same local Jag dealer at 60K miles as well as a 4-wheel alignment which included a suspension adjustment to factory specs. Water Pump was replaced by same Jag dealer at 57K miles, under factory warranty. Gearbox was also replaced by Jag dealer at 57K miles, under warranty. That same door also has a few bubbles that have developed in the window tinting - also shown in a photo. Finally, the woodgrain cover to the ashtray will not fully close so we've just left it open (as seen in the picture) which really wasn't a big deal because that is where the cell phone charger plugs in anyway - at the lighter. By the way, we are non-smokers and the previous owner, I was told, also was a non-smoker and the aboslute lack of any blemish in the ashtray or lighter confirm such. Vehicle is available for inspection and test drive. Vehicle is for sale locally and seller reserves the right to end the auction prior to the scheduled end if it sells locally. Aside from 4 month warranty of the motor which comes with the car, this vehicle is otherwise sold as-is without warranties or guarantees. On May-03-10 at 21:37:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Just so there are no surprises for anyone, I realized that I did not list that there is a very minor chip in the windshield which has been repaired/filled on the driver's side - about 5 inches from the edge nearest the driver's side door - so it is not in the direct line of sight for the driver.
